The 50th celebratory luncheon capped an abundance of anniversary activity for the Ministry of Social Services and Community Development that included Church Service, 50thAnniversary Exhibit at the Mall at Marathon, and Long Service Awards, recognizing the work and the many dedicated leaders and staff of what has become one of the largest government departments since its launch in 1964.
