Bahamas Social Services Holds 50th Anniversary Luncheon

Nassau, Bahamas - Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Perry Christie gave the key address at the Social Services Anniversary Luncheon, September 28, at the British Colonial Hilton.
The 50th celebratory luncheon capped an abundance of anniversary activity for the Ministry of Social Services and Community Development that included Church Service, 50thAnniversary Exhibit at the Mall at Marathon, and Long Service Awards, recognizing the work and the many dedicated leaders and staff of what has become one of the largest government departments since its launch in 1964.
