Bahamasair celebrates inaugural Miami-Bimini Direct Flight

BIMINI, The Bahamas - Bahamasair celebrated its inaugural direct flight from Miami to Bimini on Thursday afternoon, May 3, 2018 in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Miami airport departure gate. After the half-hour flight, there was a Welcome Ceremony at Bimini airport: Photos show Minister Campbell receives warm greeting upon disembarking Bahamasair in Bimini; Ministry of Tourism Senior Director/Aviation Tyrone Sawyer addressed the guests; and holding the commemorative plaque, from left -- Bahamasair Managing Director Tracy Cooper; Bahamasair Chairman Orville 'Tommy' Turnquest; Minister of Transport and Local Government & Acting Minister of Tourism, the Hon.
