NASSAU, The Bahamas – Bahamian athletes celebrated Sports Heritage Month with the media on Monday evening at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas at what Minister of Youth, Sports, and Culture the Hon. Dr. Daniel Johnson called an opportunity ‘to bring together the past, the present and the future’ in Bahamian athletes to share thoughts and ideas.

The Media Reception, hosted by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, was a mix and mingle of sports legends -- National Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2015 – members of 2016 Olympics Team Bahamas who will compete in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil – sporting officials, and Ministry personnel – with the media.  Dr. Daniel Johnson is pictured, centre, addressing the reception guests with three sporting federation representatives.
