The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been closely monitoring the developments in London, England following what is being described as a 'serious incident' in the 'museum district' of Kensington, where several pedestrians were struck by a car while on the sidewalk.  Officials at The Bahamas High Commission in London confirm that all Commission staff and the staff at The Bahamas Tourist Office and related Bahamas Missions are unaffected and that there are no reports of any Bahamians being involved.

The incident is currently being investigated as a possible  terrorist attack.

A spokesman for the Ministry noted that "...Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected and their families."
