Nassau, Bahamas - Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Perry G. Christie in his key address of the recent Junkanoo Corporation New Providence Ltd. (JCNP) 2014 Leadership Conclave at the British Colonial Hilton, August 30, encouraged Junkanoo leaders to grasp the opportunities of the imminent Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival slated to come on stream next year. The seminar was held to expose the leaders to the new avenues of expression and economic benefit.

Prime Minister Christie encouraged the participants to take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about how Junkanoo can be expanded as a business. In addition, the seminar set the stage to prepare the Junkanooers for the level of expectations that will be anticipated once the new festival is launched.
