A STATE-RECOGNIZED FUNERAL SERVICE FOR THE LATE FORMER SENATOR TELATOR STRACHAN WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 AM ON FRIDAY 17TH AUGUST 2018 AT FAITH UNITED BAPTIST CHURCH, BAILLOU HILL ROAD.
ROAD CLOSURE
From 10:00 am until after the funeral service on Friday 17th August 2018, the following street will be closed to vehicular traffic:
United Christian Way
TRAFFIC DIVERSION
Traffic traveling south along Soldier Road toward Woodlawn Cemetery at the time of the procession, will be diverted west onto Yumetto Drive. Traffic attempting to travel north on Soldier Road, will be encouraged to continue traveling east on Prince Charles Drive, or west onto Robinson Road until the procession has reached the gravesite.
PROCESSION ROUTE
The Mourning Party along with a motorcade after assembling within the church’s premises, will travel north on Baillou Hill Road to Independence Drive, east on Independence Drive to East West Highway to Robinson Road. East on Robinson Road to Soldier Road, where, at the junction of Robinson and Soldier roads a procession will form and take place. The Procession then travels north along Soldier Road, and concludes at Woodlawn Cemetery.
PARKING
Parking will be permitted only on the church property Faith United Christian Way, side and back sections, not obstructing driveways or resident properties. Parking will also only be permitted in the parking areas allotted at the gravesite.
NO PARKING
