NASSAU, The Bahamas – Carlton E. Francis Primary School hosted Literacy Week Assembly, Monday, March 5th on the theme “Lights, Camera, Action: It’s Time to Read.” Winners of the school’s Literacy Song Competition performed during the assembly and prizes were presented to winners of a Song and Literacy Book Competition. Special guest speaker for the event was Rev. Diana Francis. Jamal Moss, Senator, and Marcia Roberts, District Superintendent, also addressed the students. The Royal Bahamas Defence Force Band provided entertainment.
