Dr. Michael Darville at the Ministry for Grand Bahama on Thursday.  Accompanying Mr. Smith was the executive team. Minister Darville also noted that over the past year, the Ministry for Grand Bahama has been working closely with the Ministry of Education to develop an Agricultural Cadet Corp -- this will be the feeder programme that ensures that agricultural specialists as well as farmers are generated from the island.

Mr. Smith said they are trying to get more people involved in the economic growth of agriculture in light of the large amount of food imported annually.  He continued he is excited to view the Grand Bahama Art and Craft Centre which nearing completion.
