NASSAU, Bahamas - Cephas Cooper, Under Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources, brings remarks on behalf of the Hon. V. Alfred Gray, Minister of Agriculture & Marine Resources, and Minister responsible for Cooperative Development, at the 2nd Cooperative Distinguished Lecture Series Opening Ceremony. The lecture series is being held under the theme “Co-ops and Youth Development”. This second in a four-part Lecture Series will serve as another forum to initiate and encourage exchange in the development of Co-ops in the country.
Calnan Weech, Sr. Director of IT at Atlantis Resort and Past President of The Bahamas Cooperative League Limited was the guest speaker for the 2nd Cooperative Distinguished Lecture Series. He spoke on the topic “The Role of Co-ops in Economic and Youth Development”.
