Nassau, The Bahamas – The new $27.3 million international terminal, air traffic control tower and fire/crash rescue facility under construction in Marsh Harbour, Abaco is nearing completion.
The current 3,315 square feet building is being replaced with a new 24,000 square feet single storey terminal immediately west of the existing terminal.

The Hon. Neko Grant Minister of Public Works and Transport said it is expected that the $4 million flight tower will be manned by Abaconians. “There is a recruitment programme going on as we speak so they can be trained in time to occupy the tower on completion of the building,” he said.
FES Construction Company Limited has been contracted to construct the new facility.
