CROOKED ISLAND, The Bahamas – Though their island took the brunt of catastrophic Hurricane Joaquin, Crooked Islanders in the photo managed to keep hope alive and hold strong.  Moment was caught when the team of NEMA, the Prime Minister and other government officials visited Acklins and Crooked Island on October 6, 2015 to assess the damage in the hurricane’s aftermath.  (BIS Photo/Eric Rose)
