Cultural Heritage Month launched at NAGB

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture the Hon. Lanisha Rolle joined Acting Permanent Secretary Rhoda Jackson, Executive Director of Culture Rowena Poitier-Sutheralnd, Deputy Director Dereka Deleveaux-Grant and Senior officials of the Cultural Affairs Division in launching Cultural Heritage Month, at the beginning of December, at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas.  Also present were Director of the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas Amanda Coulson and her fellow staff members, cultural stakeholders and the general public.  Minister Rolle read the Cultural Heritage Month Proclamation by Prime Minister Dr. the Most Hon. Hubert Minnis and cultural performances and Bahamian food filled the evening.  (BIS Photos / Eric Rose)
