Nassau, The Bahamas - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Peter Turnquest visited the art exhibition of Bahamian hospitality and cultural icon, Nettie Symonette at the Central Bank of The Bahamas on Wednesday, May 16, her birthday.  Mr. Turnquest is pictured viewing the 'intuitive' works and enjoying Nettie's special moment on her special day.  The Central Bank introduced her artworks with these words: "The Central Bank of the Bahamas Art Gallery is proud to present a retrospective exhibition of artworks by Nettica 'Nettie' Symonette, on her birthday, that allows the public a window into her developmental practice as a visual artist and life as a cultural grande dame."  (BIS Photos/Derek Smith)
