Under the theme 'How Far We Have Come', the Department of Statistics, Northern Bahamas, held a Symposium Luncheon on Monday, June 11, at Pelican Bay resort. The event was a part of the department’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. Other events held so far include: Census Launch, Anniversary Church Service, and a Fun Run-Walk. A Staff Fun Day is scheduled for June 22. Guest speaker for the event on Monday was Minister of State for Grand Bahama in the Office of the Prime Minister, Senator the Hon. J. Kwasi Thompson.
