EMERGENCY POWERS (COVID 19) REGULATIONS, 2020

EMERGENCY POWERS (COVID 19) (NO. 2)
(AMENDMENT) (NO. 5) ORDER, 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Emergency Powers (Covid 19) Regulations, 2020, I HEREBY make the following order-
1. Citation.

This Order, which amends the Emergency Powers (Covid 19) (No. 2) Order, 2020 may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Covid 19) (No.2) (Amendment) (No. 5) Order, 2020.

2. Amendment of Order 5 of S.I. No. 27 of 2020.
Paragraph (l)(b) of Order 5 of the Emergency Powers (Covid 19) (No. 2) Order, 2020 is amended-

(1) in subparagraph (i) by the deletion of the words "excluding private renal dialysis facilities; and" and the substitution of the words-"excluding-
(aa) private renal dialysis facilities;
(bb) pediatricians, for the purposes of child vaccinations;
(cc) obstetricians, for ante-natal and natal care; and
(dd) oncologists, for imaging diagnostic services, chemotherapy and radiation therapy; and"; and
(2) by the deletion and substitution of subparagraph (ii) as follows-
"(ii) where physical interaction is a necessity, there must be strict adherence to-
(aa)sanitation protocols;
(bb)utilization of personal protection equipment for the protection of medical staff and the patient; and
(cc) physical distancing

EMERGENCY POWERS (COVID 19) (NO. 2)
(AMENDMENT) (NO. 6) ORDER, 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Emergency Powers (Covid 19) Regulations, 2020, I HEREBY make the following Order-

1.    Citation.
This Order, which amends the Emergency Powers (Covid 19)(No. 2) Order, 2020, may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Covid 19)(No.2) (Amendment) (No. 6) Order, 2020.

2.    Amendment of Order 5 of the principal Order
Order 5 of the principal Order is amended as follows -
(a)    in paragraph (1), by the repeal and replacement of subparagraph (d) as follows-
"(d) gas stations from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.;"; and
(b)    by the repeal and replacement of paragraph (2) as follows -
(2)    All works of construction or repair of any sort is prohibited.".

3.    Amendment of Order 10 of the principal Order.
Paragraph (I) of Order 10 of the principal Order is amended-
(1)    in subparagraph (b), by the deletion of the word "and"; and
(2)    by the insertion immediately after paragraph (b) of the following new subparagraph-
"(bb) except with prior the written permission of The Bahamas Maritime Authority, no regional or international commercial vessel shall berth at any port; and".

4.Amendment of Order 16 of the principal Order.
Paragraph (2) of Order 16 of the principal Order is amended by the deletion of the following item-
"(j) only construction companies carrying on hurricane relief, reconstruction and restoration efforts in the islands of Grand Bahama, Abaco and their respective cays.".
