FREEPORT - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Urban Development, the Hon. Philip Brave Davis, was on Grand Bahama on Thursday September 24. Mr. Davis was the guest speaker at The Bahamas Society of Engineers Annual Northern Branch Workshop and Luncheon. While here in Freeport, Mr. Davis visited the site of the Farmer’s Market that is being refurbished by SRA Construction Company Limited at cost of $250,000.00.

When completed, there will be 28 brightly-coloured stalls, and a Gazebo that will allow visiting guests to enjoy Bahamian delicacies. The work at the Farmer’s Market is expected to be completed in 12 weeks.
