FORT PIERCE MAYOR VISITS – Mayor Linda Hudson of Fort Pierce, Florida, came to Grand Bahama on Thursday, May 12, on an official visit. In Freeport, she had meetings with Ian Rolle, President of the Grand Bahama Port Authority, and Godfrey Smith of the Freeport Container Port. The Mayor then paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Dr. Michael Darville on Friday, May 13, at the Ministry for Grand Bahama. Minister Darville welcomed her to the island and gave her an overview of what the island has to offer.
