Fox Hill Pre-treatment Facility just one of the sites visited by WSC Officials

NASSAU, The Bahamas - The Fox Hill Pre-treatment Facility, Lynden Pindling International Airport Major Pump Station and Flamingo Gardens Major Pump Station were among the sites visited by the Hon. Adrian Gibson, Chairman, Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) and MP for Long Island, along with officials from the Corporation, Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

The pumping stations and plants are a part of an $18.7 million contract with Island Site Development (ISD) for rehabilitation of small pumping stations and construction of wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations in New Providence on Nassau Street, Rawson Square, the Supreme Court, Vista Marina, Lewis Street, Fox Hill, Pinewood, Flamingo Gardens and Big Pond.

In 2001, a contract was signed with the Inter-American Bank for implementation of the New Providence Water Supply and Sanitations System Upgrade.

The Malcolm Park Major Pump Station was also visited during the tour.
