Nassau, The Bahamas - The funeral service of noted Bahamian political figure, Sir Geoffrey Johnstone was held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Kirk on Saturday morning, August 12, 2017, conducted by pastor of St. Andrew's Kirk, Rev. Bryn McPhail, with interment at The Garden of Remembrance, Christ Church Cathedral. Governor General Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling attended the service, as well as Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Hubert Minnis, members of the government and other officials. The Governor General is pictured greeting the family of the late Sir Geoffrey, and the Prime Minister is pictured while giving a tribute.
