Freeport, Bahamas - Executive members of the Grand Bahama Farmers Agriculture Cooperative Society Ltd., paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Dr. Michael Darville, at the Ministry on Friday morning. During the courtesy call, Co-Op president Oscar Campbell shared that they are currently in talks with three foreign investors for projects on the island that would see a resurgence of fresh fruit and vegetables available.

The proposed projects include fresh fish farming, green house farming and the cultivation of palm oil. It is hoped with the projects currently being looked into, there will be employment opportunities as well as capital investment.
