Graduating RBDF Rangers to Perform Duties at the Forts of Nassau

NASSAU, The Bahamas - The Antiquities, Monuments & Museums Corporation (AMMC) together with the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) held a Graduation Ceremony of Royal Bahamas Defence Force Rangers at Fort Charlotte last Friday evening.  Captain Tellis Bethel, RBDF Acting Commodore addressed the ceremony. Through partnership between AMMC and the RBDF -- 50 young RBDF Rangers perform duties at the Forts of Nassau – Fort Charlotte, Fort Fincastle, Fort Montagu and the Potter’s Cay Battery as paramilitary demonstrators, tour guides and security officers.  Defence Force officers convey military training to the Rangers and oversee them.   AMMC conveys historical expertise to the youth.  (BIS Photos/Raymond A.
