Grand Bahama Ministry discusses employment opportunities for engineers

Freeport, Bahamas - Executives from the Professional Engineers Board paid a courtesy call on Minister for Grand Bahama, Dr. Michael Darville on Thursday. Freeman Duncanson (left), Registrar of the PEB and Darius Williams (right), Assistant Secretary/Treasurer met with the Minister for more than an hour and touched on employment opportunities for local engineers and the screening process for foreign engineers seeking employment in Grand Bahama and throughout The Bahamas. Minister Darville assured the Board that his ministry will work closely with the agency to ensure that local engineers get the various jobs as they come on stream and training among other issues.
