The Office of the Prime Minister (Grand Bahama) presented representatives of the Grand Bahama Beekeepers Cooperatives Society Ltd. with a grant of $20,000 to assist the Cooperative in rebuilding their industry, after most of the small businesses within the Cooperative lost their product and equipment in Hurricane Dorian. Making the presentation on Friday, July 17, 2020, were Minister of State for Grand Bahama, Senator the Hon. Kwasi Thompson (third from left); Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, the Hon. Michael Pintard (fourth from right); Minister of State for Disaster Preparedness, Management and Reconstruction, the Hon. Iram Lewis (third from right) and Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister (GB), Mr. Harcourt Brown (second from left).
