Strengthening Partnerships, Improving Lives:

Daniela Carrera-Marquis, the newly appointed IDB Country Representative in The Bahamas, makes a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister, The Hon. Min. Peter Turnquest, on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Accompanying Mrs. Carrera-Marquis is Michael Nelson, IDB Chief of Operations.

During the visit, the IDB representatives and Min. Turnquest discussed ongoing plans for development opportunities in The Bahamas.

With a focus on enhancing sustainable development and strengthening partnerships throughout The Bahamas, the IDB remains fully committed to working closely with the Bahamian government, while strengthening the collaboration between civil society and the private sector. 

The IDB has been working in partnership with the Bahamian government since 1977 and remains committed to helping The Bahamas and its citizens achieve its goals to enjoy healthy, prosperous lives.
