Junior Achievement Bahamas pays courtesy call at OPM

Prime Minister the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis met with student achievers, Board members and administrators of Junior Achievement (JA) Bahamas during a courtesy call at the Office of the Prime Minister on Friday 7 February.

The Prime Minister spoke with students about the progress of their business ventures in JA. He also heard from JA chairman, Mr. Philip Simon, board director and administrators about development plans for the organization, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2020.

Junior Achievement is a leading youth development organization in The Bahamas dedicated to fostering youth innovation, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, college preparedness and work readiness. Over the past 40 years, its programmes have been operated in various islands across The Bahamas.
