Nassau, The Bahamas - Minister of Labour, the Hon. Dion Foulkes in his national address of this year's Randol Fawkes Labour Day Parade, themed 'One for All, All for One: Securing the Protection of Bahamian Workers for Future Generations' -- dedicated the week of events to the memories of Tabitha Haye, Tami Gibson, Dianne Ferguson, and Kathleen Fernander who lost their lives on last year's parade.  A Moment of Silence was kept.  The Minister paused to remind of the achievements of Labour Day Patron, Sir Randol Fawkes.  And during his address he noted that in the spirit of the labour movement, over the past 12 months his Ministry has worked aggressively to address the challenges that confront workers and their trade unions as well as needs of those not associated with organized trade unions.  Significant progress has been made, he said, through greater ease of doing business in improving services of the Ministry and the Department of Labour.   (BIS Photos/Patrick Hanna)
