MP for Garden Hills elected to serve as Speaker of the House of Assembly

Nassau, Bahamas - Dr. the Hon. Kendal V.O. Major, DDS, FICOI, DICOI, the Member of Parliament for Garden Hills, was elected to serve as Speaker of the House of Assembly (Lower Chamber) on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 during the Opening of Parliament. Dr. Major previously served as the Vice-Chairman of the Progressive Liberal Party from 2008-2010.
