The Bahamas -- The music of Freddie Munnings, Sr. was celebrated in a concert
at Rawson Square on Saturday evening, January 9 – Majority Rule Holiday Weekend
-- in honour of his famous contributions to music and entertainment in The
Bahamas, his contributions to the achievement of Majority Rule, and his legacy
that lives on through talented family members.
The Governor General Her
Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling and Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Perry G.
Christie attended the concert, as well as other members of parliament, and many
