NASSAU, The Bahamas - Hundreds of youngsters attended camps sponsored by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture during July that offered a wide range of sporting activities, arts, crafts, and academic boosters that kept children busy and inspired. Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture the Hon. Dr. Daniel Johnson visited a number of camps across the island during July while they were in session. Pictured are some of the camps the Minister visited during closing celebrations and shows -- Junkanoo Commandos exhibiting their beautiful creations, RBPF Central Division Campers, and National Dance School children who had an exciting day of dance extravaganza along with drum campers at the National Centre for Performing Arts. The Minister is pictured joining in the fun.
