Nassau, Bahamas - Hon.
Fred Mitchell MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration leaves the
country for New York City on Sunday (3rd May) for an address to
the United Nations as part of a High Level thematic debate on the relationship
between the United Nations and the CARICOM region. Mitchell will be
filling in for Bahamas Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Perry G. Christie. The
address will be delivered on Monday, the 4th May.
Following
the address, the Foreign Minister leaves New York for Trinidad and Tobago where
he will again fill in for the Prime Minister at a Commonwealth sponsored
University of the West Indies Forum on the future of the Caribbean. That
address will take place on Tuesday, the 6th May.
Mitchell
will return to Nassau on the 7th May.
