With the summer heating up, there will be an increase in mosquitoes.  In response, the Ministry of Environmental Health has begun fogging exercises throughout various communities, as shown by a truck driving through a neighborhood in Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama. The Ministry will conduct fogging throughout various communities and neighborhoods.

Residents are asked to listen to community announcements on radio for scheduled times in their respective neighborhoods. Most of the fogging takes place at night, or after the sun has set, during which time residents are asked to be indoors.  (BIS Photo/Vandyke Hepburn)
