Nassau, The Bahamas -- Nassau, Bahamas Pan-Hellenic Council Executives paid a Courtesy Call on Governor General Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling at Government House on Tuesday, February 21, to celebrate the Council's 22nd Charter Anniversary. Dame Marguerite Pindling; Georgette Albury - Council Vice-President; Ida Poitier-Turnquest - Council Secretary and 2015 Inductee, Fraternal Hall of Fame; and Carolynn Hall-Knowles - 2016 Inductee, Fraternal Hall of Fame. The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is a collaborative organization of nine historically African American, international Greek lettered fraternities and sororities. The Nassau, Bahamas Pan-Hellenic Council is the first international council of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. The local council was chartered on February 4,1995.
