Nassau, The Bahamas -- Dance, as a component of the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival, continues at the Winston V. Saunders Theatre of the Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts.

Pictures taken March 29, 2017 capture the dancers' dedication to their craft and the joy of performance.

Well-known Bahamian dancer, Lawrence coaches the dancers in one of the photos.

The National Arts Festival adjudicates school students in music, dance, and drama as well as the visual arts, annually, and the winning school is presented a trophy by the Governor General at Government House.

After New Providence performances, the festival moves to Grand Bahama and other islands through the end of May.  (BIS Photos/Derek Smith)
