NASSAU,
The Bahamas -- Over 250 young Bahamians commenced training with the National
Training Agency on Monday, February 23, at Holy Trinity Activities Centre. The
new session of work force preparation comprises the National Training Agency's
fourth cohort of trainees in New Providence.
For four weeks [3 half-days per week] they
will focus on Mandatory Workforce Preparatory "soft" skills and upon
successful completion, they will be referred to 10 weeks of competency-based
practical skills training in various areas, such as Hospitality, Allied Health
Care, Auto Service and Care, and Customer Service.
At the end of the session trainees receive appropriate
certification -- some international for example, City and Guilds. Pictured are young students at the session’s
