Nassau, The Bahamas - The Bahamas China Friendship Association (BCFA) recently held elections for its new board, with Mr. Gershan Major (centre) being re-elected as President and Dr. Donovan Moxey being elected as Vice President. Mr. Lloyd Wong received the nod for the post of Treasurer and Ms. Sharell Storr as Secretary. The voting members also elected Mr. Eric Rose as Public Relations Director, and elected as Trustees were Ms. Charlyne Sealy and Past Presidents Mr. Philip Simon and Mr. Anthony Capron.
The newly elected Executive team will focus on improving trade and commerce, educational and cultural exchanges between the people of The Bahamas and people of The People's Republic of China. It will also seek to attract a new cadre of dynamic members, who share the values of the BCFA.
