Prime Minister the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis attended a reception to mark the visit of the Apostolic Nuncio, the Most Rev. Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu.

The reception was held on Thursday 6 February at the residence of H.E. Basil W. Barnett, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the Holy See.

The Most Rev. Fortunatus Nwachukwu is a Nigerian prelate of the Catholic Church who has worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See since 1994.

While in New Providence, the Most Rev. Nwachukwu presented his Letters of Credence to the Governor General, the Most Hon. Cornelius A. Smith, accrediting him as Apostolic Nuncio, Holy See-Vatican Ambassador to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
