PM Minnis travels to Florida

Prime Minister the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis will travel to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday, February 2, 2019.

Prime Minister Minnis will be accompanied by Minister of Tourism and Aviation the Hon. Dioniso D’Aguilar, senior government officials and his wife, Mrs. Patricia Minnis.

While in Ft. Lauderdale, the Prime Minister and Minister D’Aguilar will meet with executives of Carnival and Holland America and attend the Dedication Ceremony of Holland America Line’s newest Pinnacle Class ship, MS Nieuw Statedam.

Holland America Line is a division of Carnival Cruise Corporation, the world’s largest leisure company. Carnival cruise ships call on ports in Nassau, Freeport, Eleuthera and Half Moon Cay.

Deputy Prime Minister the Hon. K. Peter Turnquest will act as Prime Minister during the Prime Minister’s absence.

The Prime Minister returns to The Bahamas on Sunday, February 3, 2019.
