Chief Passport Officer, Superintendent Clarence Russell (centre right) is shown with staff of the Bahamas Passport Office on Friday 19th May, 2017, greeting Minister of Foreign Affairs the Hon. Darren Henfield (centre) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary Sheila Carey  (fourth right).  Minister Henfield met and listened to staff as he toured the facility.  Among the challenges facing the Passport Office is timely collection of new electronic passports already processed.  Mr. Russell noted that a physical list of passports awaiting collection is published and posted outside the Passport Office for easy public access, in addition to simply calling the Passport Office 'hotline' at 323-8591.
