Nassau, Bahamas - The Bahamas 42nd Anniversary of Independence was celebrated in grand style on the eve of July 10th at Clifford Park in the country's capital under the theme, "Our Children Our Future." The event, attended by thousands featured an extensive Cultural Show with dancers and songs; the Royal Bahamas Police Force / Royal Bahamas Defence Force Tattoo Show and March Pass; ceremonial cake cutting; Junkanoo rushout and fireworks.
