Prime Minister Minnis to make official trip to Haiti

Cabinet Office announces that the Prime Minister, Honourable Dr. Hubert Minnis will lead a delegation to Port-au-Prince Haiti 24-26 February, 2018 for the 29th lntersessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Mrs. Minnis; the Honourable Brent Symonette, Minister of Trade and Industry and Immigration; Honourable Renward Wells, Minister of Agriculture & Marine Resources; Honourable Frankie Campbell, Minister of Transport & Local Government; Hon. Dionisio D'Aguillar, Minister of Tourism and Aviation, Hon. Darren Henfield, Minister of Foreign Affairs & Mrs. Henfield; Mr. Joshua Sears, Senior Policy Advisor, Office of the Prime Minister; Mr. Gregory Rahming, Acting Director of Agriculture; Ms. Enca Ward, Foreign Service Officer; Mrs. Katherine Stewart-Marsh, Personal Assistant; Ms. Yontalay Bowe, Personal Assistant; Mr. Kemico Sands, Protocol Officer; Aides Inspector Livingstone Barr and Corporal Akari Murray and various media personnel.

The Prime Minster and Ministers will have a high level meeting with the President of Haiti, H.E. Jovenal Moise to discuss, inter alia, trade and the economy, immigration, and agriculture, trade and technical cooperation.

The Prime Minister will also meet with the Prime Minster of Jamaica and the Secretary General of CARICOM to discuss the Report of the Commission to review Jamaica's relations with CARICOM and CARIFORUM.

The Prime Minister will attend the 29th Inter Sessional Meeting of CARICOM Heads on Monday 26th February, 2018. General of CARICOM Heads on Monday 26th February, 2018.

While in Haiti the Prime Minister will host a dinner for the Bahamian delegations, Staff at the Embassy in Haiti and the Diaspora.
