Thirty-four retirees of the Public Service were honoured during an Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Grand Lucayan resort. They were honoured during the 18th Northern Region Public Service Recognition of Retirees Appreciation Luncheon, held under the theme: 'The Public Service – Igniting a Positive Change for Future Generations.' Following tributes from the various departments, Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, Senator the Hon. J. Kwasi Thompson (pictured centre right) gave brief remarks and introduced the Minister of the Public Service and National Insurance, the Hon.
