RBDF Annual Memorial Service in Memory of Fallen Marines of HMBS Flamingo

NASSAU, The Bahamas - Governor General Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling (centre right), Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Hubert Minnis (centre), and other government officials, attended the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Annual Memorial Service at Coral Harbour Base in memory of RBDF marines who perished in the sinking of the HMBS Flamingo on May 10, 1980.  The Governor General and the Prime Minister laid wreaths in paying respects, and the Governor General addressed the memorial service.  Also in front row: Commander of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, Commodore Tellis Bethel, and Mrs. Teri Bethel, and at left, President of the Bahamas Christian Council, Bishop Delton Fernander.  At second right, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Hon.
