Rastafarian representatives meet with AG on matters related to the proposed legalization of marijuana use

Nassau, The Bahamas - Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, the Hon. Carl Bethel, QC, met with spokespersons of the Rastafarian Movement on 12 February, 2021 at the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs to discuss matters related to the proposed legalization of marijuana use.  Topics discussed were medical and sacramental use, expungement of records and discrimination against Rastafarians.
