NASSAU, The Bahamas -- Director of the Bahamas Bureau of Standards and Quality (BBSQ), Dr. Renee Ferguson-Bufford, participated in a joint video press conference that signaled the end of 10th European Development Fund (EDF) Program. The program, which was funded by the European Union, was implemented to assist CARICOM with technical assistance in the development of their respective standards bureaus. The program included the donation of audio-visual equipment and provided guidance to the countries, which would enable them to fully participate in providing internationally compliant products and services in order to reach the World Trade Organization (WTO) standards.
