NASSAU, The Bahamas – Road Traffic Safety Month and World Day of Remembrance of Road Traffic Victims were observed at a church service at Kemp Road Union Baptist Church, Sunday, November 16.

Minister of State in the Ministry of Transport and Aviation, the Hon. Hope Strachan, centre, attended the service. Road Traffic Controller Ross Smith, sixth from right, also attended, along with staff, family and friends. Earlier in the week, Ms. Strachan, Mr. Smith, and officers of the Road Traffic Department planted a Madeira tree along Lake Cunningham as a memorial to all victims of road traffic accidents and the loss to their families.
