SAN SALVADOR & RUM CAY – Surveying the hurricane damage and meeting with residents of San Salvador and Rum Cay on Monday, October 5. NEMA and Bahamas Government officials are traveling to the central and southern islands hard-hit by Category 4 Hurricane Joachin. On October 6, assessments are in Acklins and Crooked Island. On Saturday, October 3, officials visited Long Island and Exuma. Pictured is the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Perry Christie leading other Government Ministers on the assessment operations.
