Nassau, The Bahamas - Alumni of Saint Augustine’s College (SAC) Class of 1977 on Friday presented the Ministry of Education with 39 tablets for student use to assist in virtual learning. Minister of Education the Hon. Jeffrey Lloyd expressed gratitude on behalf of the Ministry, which has sought corporate Bahamas’s assistance in acquiring electronic devices for thousands of students in the government school system with the goal to place a device in the hands of every child. Mrs. Nickola Gomez-Dawkins, a member of the Class 1977, said persons from the class whether living in Grand Bahama, New Providence, or the United States were happy to assist.
