State recognized funeral announced for Bruce Charles Braynen

Nassau, Bahamas - The
Cabinet Office announced today that a State Recognised Funeral will be
held for Mr Bruce Charles Braynen, former Vice President of the Senate
and member of the House of Assembly, on Thursday 11 October 2012, at
11:00 a.m. at St. Mary the Virgin Church, Virginia Street.
Further,
Mr Braynen will lie-in-state at the House of Assembly, Parliament
Square, Bay Street, Nassau, The Bahamas on Wednesday 10 October 2012
from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Viewing for the general public will begin at 12:00 noon until 6:00pm.
The former parliamentarian Bruce Charles Braynen died at age 99.
