Nassau, The Bahama -- The Straw Market Authority hosted Straw Vendors, Wood Carvers and members of the Press to a Christmas Luncheon, Thursday, December 15 at The Crab House. The event was held to show appreciation to the Press, Vendors and Wood Carvers for their work during 2016. Vendors and Wood Carvers in attendance represented markets at Paradise Island, Fort Charlotte, Fort Fincastle, Cable Beach and Down Town. Deputy Chairman Paul Bevans recognized board members for their commitment. 'Vendor of the Quarter' Celestine Eneas thanked Chairman Kevin Simmons for his vision and efforts to improve the Straw Markets. Mr. Simmons is pictured speaking at the event.
